The disqualification case of Shiv Sena legislators will be heard on January 22. Uddhav Thackeray’s faction filed a petition in the Supreme Court regarding the disqualification.


In the matter of disqualification of Shiv Sena legislators, a hearing took place today in the Supreme Court against the decision of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker. The Supreme Court has deferred the hearing on the petition filed by Uddhav Thackeray’s faction until January 22. Senior advocate Kapil Sibal, representing the Thackeray faction, requested the court to schedule the hearing for the next week, by Monday.
