Lucknow: The UP Budget Session 2024 is commencing on Friday in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. This marks the first session of the year 2024 and the seventh session of the 18th Legislative Assembly. As is tradition for the first session of the year, it will commence with the joint meeting of both houses, where the Governor’s address will outline the achievements of the Yogi government. The address is expected to highlight the recent Pran Pratishtha Samaroh held in Ayodhya. The opposition is likely to press the government on issues such as law and order, inflation, unemployment, and the problems faced by farmers and stray animals in the Assembly.
