Hamad Awad Bin Mubarak has been appointed as the new Prime Minister of the country. Mayin Abdulmalik Said will serve as the advisor to the President of the Supreme Council. Bin Mubarak is considered close to Saudi Arabia. The council did not disclose the reason behind the reshuffle. It is worth mentioning that Yemen has been embroiled in a civil war since 2014, with Iran-backed rebels holding significant influence in the country.
