Industry Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ questioned those who ordered firing on kar sevaks, asking if they would now come to seek Lord Ram’s blessings. The SP leadership could have absolved itself from criticism of firing on kar sevaks in 1990 and sought refuge before Lord Ram, but it was appropriate for them to persist in their opposition to Lord Ram, a stance they have maintained for nearly three decades.
