Hundreds gathered to say their last goodbyes to Alexey Navalny in Russia, despite the risk of arrest. Mourners attended the funeral of the late Russian opposition leader, defying warnings from the Kremlin against unauthorized protests.

Near the Soothe My Sorrows church in Moscow, a hearse was parked, reportedly carrying Navalny’s coffin. Crowds chanted his name, expressing their refusal to forgive Russian authorities for his death as they gathered for the farewell ceremony.

Despite the heavy police presence and warnings from the Kremlin, hundreds of mourners showed up near the church in southern Moscow, patiently waiting for hours to pay their respects to Navalny.
