Near the Soothe My Sorrows church in Moscow, a hearse was parked, reportedly carrying Navalny’s coffin. Crowds chanted his name, expressing their refusal to forgive Russian authorities for his death as they gathered for the farewell ceremony.
Despite the heavy police presence and warnings from the Kremlin, hundreds of mourners showed up near the church in southern Moscow, patiently waiting for hours to pay their respects to Navalny.
