BJP MP Kunar Hembram from Jhargram, West Bengal, resigned from the party on Saturday. Speaking to journalists, Hembram said he took this decision due to personal reasons. State BJP spokesperson Samik Bhattacharya said that Hembram had informed the party about his decision a few days ago. TMC said he resigned while gauging defeat.
