Kolkata: Amid discussions regarding the operational management of universities run by the government in West Bengal, Education Minister Bratya Basu’s characterization of the Governor as ‘insane’ has stirred controversy. In response, CV Anand Bose stated on Thursday that such comments arose when he had already approved the proposed interim Vice-Chancellors’ names by the minister earlier.
