News Street Live, Bankura: On Saturday, the streets of West Bengal witnessed immense enthusiasm for ‘Bulldozer Baba.’ The excitement among local citizens on seeing Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was remarkable. The public welcomed him warmly. As people saw him, thunderous slogans filled the air, ‘Dekho Dekho Kaun Aya, Sher Aya, Sher Aya, Yogi Ji Suswagatam.’ Voters in Bengal also expressed confidence, saying that by May 4, ‘Didi’ would be gone. CM Yogi thanked the people for the grand reception.

Overwhelmed by the welcome, the Chief Minister sought public support during the roadshow for BJP candidate Niladri Shekhar Dana. The streets of Bankura resonated with chants like ‘Ek Hi Naara, Ek Hi Naam, Jai Shri Ram, Jai Shri Ram Har Har Mahadev.’ Voters assured him that ‘Kamal’ would bloom in the constituency. Throughout the roadshow, chants of ‘Yogi-Yogi’ echoed continuously.

Local citizens gave an unprecedented welcome to ‘Bulldozer Baba.’ A massive crowd gathered on both sides of the roads to catch a glimpse of CM Yogi, who wore a saffron turban. Seeing him among them, people openly expressed their sentiments. From various places, slogans were heard: ‘On May 4, ‘Didi’ will be gone’ and ‘Andhkaar Chatega, Kamal Khilega.’ CM Yogi greeted the people warmly by waving and folding his hands.

Women and children stood on rooftops along both sides of the road to see CM Yogi. As his convoy passed, many greeted him with folded hands. The Chief Minister responded by waving back. People on the roads and rooftops also captured photos of him on their mobile phones.

At the end of the roadshow, CM Yogi interacted with voters and thanked them for the grand welcome. He said, “Amar Sonar Bangla (My Golden Bengal), now a TMC-free Bengal.” He added, “The enthusiasm across Bengal indicates that the BJP’s lotus will bloom on May 4.”

He said, “Bengal is known as the cultural capital of India, but the Congress, All India Trinamool Congress (TMC), and communists have weakened this identity.”

Explaining the meaning of BJP, he said, “It stands for security, employment for youth, fair prices for farmers’ produce, safety for women, preservation of heritage, and accelerated development through a double-engine government.”
