CM stated, “We are people who respect tradition and heritage.” Referring to Lord Ram’s arrival in Ayodhya, he said, “For thousands of years, Ayodhya had nothing but broken roads. Electricity was unavailable, and filth prevailed everywhere.”
He remarked, “The same traits of Congress and Samajwadi Party, habit of living in filth, indulging in dirty deeds and committing robberies under the cover of darkness, were displayed by them in Ayodhya as well. Ayodhya was not provided with electricity, no development took place, and when the BJP government prepared a development plan, they created obstacles.”
He added, “Even during the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, they tried every possible way to create hurdles so that the temple would not be built, development would not take place and the airport would not be constructed. Today, under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, the magnificent Ramlala temple has been built. Ram Janmabhoomi complex also houses temples dedicated to Valmiki, Goswami Tulsidas, Shabari Mata and Nishadraj.”
Referring to the 56-foot-tall statue depicting the meeting of Lord Ram and Nishadraj at Shringverpur, he said, “People used to ask what the need for this was today. As long as this friendship endures, consider the end of SP and Congress rule inevitable.”
Attacking the SP’s tenure, CM stated, “When they formed the government in 2012, in their very first cabinet meeting, they removed Sant Ravidas Nagar from the name of Bhadohi, removed Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s name from the medical college in Kannauj, and removed Manyavar Kanshiram’s name from the language university in Lucknow, renaming it after Moinuddin Chishti.”
Citing Kashi Vishwanath Dham as an example, he said, “Before 2017, not even 20 devotees could have darshan at the same time there. Today, 20,000 devotees can have darshan together.”
He stated, “It was because of Prime Minister Modi that Panchteerth sites associated with Dr. Ambedkar were developed and the Constitution received respect when he placed a copy of the Constitution on his head and installed it in new Parliament building.”
He asked, “Those who are friends of rioters, who had made creating lawlessness and carrying out robberies under the cover of darkness a part of their lives and for whom the family itself had become the state, what development would they deliver?”
CM stated, “I was reading a statement by SP president. At present, there are two Miyan figures in the country: Chhote Miyan and Bade Miyan. Chhote Miyan and Bade Miyan have immense affection for infiltrators. They embrace Bangladeshi infiltrators while insulting Dalits, the deprived, the poor, our food-producing farmers and the youth.”
He said, “SP and Congress had the opportunity to govern for a long time. During their rule, farmers were forced to commit suicide, the poor were dying of hunger, young people could not get jobs and in the name of employment, their rights were robbed.”
He added, “SP itself had become a threat to women’s safety. Its goons used to occupy the land of traders and poor people and CM used to honor rioters at his official residence.”
Reminding people of Kosi Kalan and Jawahar Bagh incidents in Mathura, he stated, “A leader associated with the SP had occupied and carried out construction across hundreds of acres of a park for two years. When SP Mukul Dwivedi and Station House Officer Santosh Yadav went to remove the encroachment, they were murdered.”
Referring to the Muzaffarnagar riots, he said, “Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Saharanpur, Meerut and Bulandshahr, in other words, the entire western Uttar Pradesh, continued to burn for a long time. People were freezing to death in the severe cold wherever they could find shelter, while the then Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party chief slept with cotton in his ears and a blanket over himself. The mayhem they unleashed in the state is what these people want to take it back to once again.”
CM stated, “These people put constitutional institutions in the dock. They insult the judiciary, support Bangladeshi and Pakistani infiltrators, and insult the citizens of Uttar Pradesh by labeling them infiltrators.”
He asked, “Akhilesh ji, why do you have so much affection for Bangladeshi infiltrators?” He alleged, “During the SIR, Akhilesh and his party forcibly got the names of infiltrators included, thereby robbing the poor of their rightful entitlements.”
He said, “When an infiltrator arrives, these are the very people who get ration cards made for them and ensure that the poor person’s ration reaches them. This was why, before 2017, the poor were dying of hunger, farmers were being forced to commit suicide, the safety of daughters was at risk and foreign infiltrators occupied land wherever they pleased.”
CM stated, “Under the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), provisions were made to grant citizenship and facilitate a dignified life for Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and Sikhs who had been driven out of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.” He said, “Samajwadi Party and Congress opposed this. This means they have an inherent hostility towards Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and Sikhs.”
He added, “They resorted to vandalism and arson and also attempted a violent incident in Kanpur. Helping infiltrators on the one hand and insulting the poor and deprived people here by calling them infiltrators on the other has become their way of life.”
CM stated, “In 1931, riots took place in this very Kanpur. While trying to save the lives of innocent Hindus, fearless and nationalist journalist Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi was killed by rioters.” He added, “The father of MLA Rahul Bachha Sonkar was also brutally murdered by those very rioters. The only remedy for rioters lies with the BJP’s double-engine government.”
Referring to Vijayadashami, he said, “The festival concluded peacefully and an atmosphere of joy prevailed in every village, city, ward and home. This prosperity and this festive atmosphere are what Ram Rajya is all about.”
He asked, “Before 2017, could anyone have imagined that Brahmavart Ghat would be developed here, that Valmiki Ashram would receive a magnificent makeover, or that a grand memorial to Nana Saheb Peshwa and Tatya Tope would be built?”
He stated, “Development, heritage, welfare of the poor and employment for youth were not on the agenda of government at that time. The money being spent today on Brahmavart Ghat, Valmiki Ashram, Peshwa-Tope memorial, Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Ayodhya, Vindhyavasini Dham and Mathura-Vrindavan was, before 2017, spent in the name of cemetery boundary walls to occupy the land of poor.”
He added, “There is never any need to trust those who sympathize with mafias and occupy the land of the poor and traders in the name of cemeteries. These people will divide society again and after dividing it, they will do what they did to Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi and Bachha Sonkar in this very Kanpur.”
He asserted, “They must not be given this opportunity under any circumstances. Before rioters raise their heads, their poisonous heads and hoods must be crushed.” He greeted the people of Bilhaur, who had paid tribute to the late Bachha Sonkar by electing his son, Rahul Bachha Sonkar, as their MLA.
He stated, “Bachha Sonkar, who had served as an office-bearer of the Bajrang Dal, sacrificed himself to protect Sanatan Dharma and became a victim of the SP’s cruel policy of appeasement.”
CM stated, “SP means riots, SP means corruption, SP means dynastic politics, SP means playing with the lives of the youth and SP means lawlessness in the state.” He said, “There is a need to identify these corrupt people, anarchists, sympathizers of mafias and friends of rioters in time.”
He added, “They will come wearing new cloaks. Now even the Samajwadi Party is chanting Ram’s name, but remember, you are Bajrangis. It was Bajrangi who recognised Kalanemi. There is no need to trust any of them.” He stated that the government had advanced the redevelopment of Sadguru Ravidas Ji’s birthplace. A new PAC battalion had been established in Lucknow in the name of Veerangana Uda Devi Pasi, a women’s battalion in Badaun in the name of Veerangana Avanti Bai Lodhi, and a new battalion in Gorakhpur in the name of Veerangana Jhalkari Bai Kori.
He added, “A grand memorial to Maharaja Bijli Pasi is being built in Lucknow and the fort is being given a magnificent appearance. It was under illegal occupation. During the Samajwadi Party’s tenure, it had been illegally occupied, but it has now been freed from encroachment.” He said the light-and-sound program at Jhansi Fort presents the valor of Rani Lakshmibai and the saga of 1857 to young people.
Crediting Valmiki, Goswami Tulsidas and Prime Minister Modi, through the consecration of Ramlala, with connecting people to Lord Ram, the Chief Minister stated, “How can those who oppose Ram accept this? That is why they indulge in baseless ranting.” He remarked, “Congress has become mentally bankrupt and deranged. It keeps giving birth to new conspiracies and puts the country’s constitutional institutions in the dock.”
He said, “Those whose way of life had become dishonesty, corruption, lawlessness and compromising the country’s security and who created a crisis of identity for India, are now indulging in baseless ranting against constitutional institutions.” He said the time to teach the Congress and Samajwadi Party a lesson was approaching. He appealed to the people not to accept under any circumstances those who insult the country’s constitutional institutions and freedom fighters.
He alleged that these people were insulting Lakshmibai, Nana Saheb Peshwa, Tatya Tope, Chandrashekhar Azad, Ramprasad Bismil, Thakur Roshan Singh, Ashfaqullah Khan, Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He said, “By putting the institutions established under the Constitution created by these great personalities in the dock, these people are insulting both the Constitution and the freedom fighters.”
Referring to the line from the Ramcharitmanas, “Nahi daridra kou dukhi na deena, nahi kou abudh na lachchhan heena”, CM stated, “The work being done today is what Ram Rajya is all about.” He said that these lines reflected the work being undertaken by the double-engine government. CM stated, “Double-engine government has delivered development, honored our heritage and introduced schemes for the welfare of the poor.”
He added that 16 crore people in the state had received free ration under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 65 lakh poor people received houses, while 10 crore people accessed Ayushman Bharat benefits. Under the Ujjwala Yojana, 2 crore people had received LPG cylinders. On Diwali, every Ayushman and Ujjwala beneficiary received one free cylinder each. The state provided pre-matric and post-matric scholarships to 67 lakh students. Under Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana, more than 5 lakh daughters were married with a grant of ₹1 lakh per beneficiary.
He stated, “There is no discrimination in the schemes. It is about Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.” He added that Kanpur now had metro services, its airport had become operational, a new expressway connecting it to Lucknow had been provided, work had progressed following approval for a new bridge over the Ganga in Trans Ganga area and a bypass was being constructed. Ghats in Bithoor were being constructed and redeveloped.
He stated, “I have just visited the temple of Maharishi Valmiki, where he practiced spiritual discipline and began composing the Ramayana. Before 2017, this temple was in a completely dilapidated condition. Today, it has become magnificent, and the entire ashram has been transformed.”
Describing Bithoor as a land of heritage, he said, “It is said that Brahma Ji began the creation of the universe from this very ghat. This land witnessed the influence of Maharishi Valmiki’s spiritual practices and by providing shelter to the queen of Ayodhya, demonstrated that where women are respected, that land becomes a place of pilgrimage.”
He added, “Where the dignity of women is respected, brave children like Lav and Kush will demonstrate their valor.” He stated, “It was here that Adikavi Valmiki composed the world’s first epic, Ramayana, which conveyed the ideals of Lord Ram to every person.” He added, “This is the very land where, during the First War of Independence in 1857, British were given a crushing fight under the leadership of Nana Saheb Peshwa and Tatya Tope.”
He stated that Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, known as “Manu”, spent her childhood in Bithoor and that her skills in horse riding and swordsmanship were gifts of this very land.
On the occasion, Uttar Pradesh government ministers Rakesh Sachan and Pratibha Shukla; MP Ramesh Awasthi; Mayor Pramila Pandey; District Panchayat Administrator Swapnil Varun; Bithoor MLA Abhijeet Singh Sanga; Bilhaur MLA Mohit Sonkar Rahul Bachha; MLAs Neelima Katiyar, Mahesh Trivedi and Saroj Kuril; Legislative Council members Arun Pathak, Avinash Singh Chauhan and Manvendra Singh; Bharatiya Janata Party regional president Ram Kishor Sahu; rural district president Upendra Paswan; north district president Anil Dixit; Kanpur South district president Shri Shivraj Singh; and newly elected Bithoor Nagar Panchayat Parishad chairman Rana Samarendra Singh were present.
