Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said, “The Uttar Pradesh government had notified the Uttar Pradesh Global Capability Centre Policy-2024 on May 7, 2025, with the objective of positioning the state as a competitive investment destination at the national and international levels. To ensure its effective implementation, the GCC Implementation Rules-2025 were also issued on January 7, 2026.”

He added, “In this regard, the proposals of all four industrial units were deliberated upon at a meeting of the high-level empowered committee, constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary, Uttar Pradesh, on July 10, 2026.
