While taking out a Moharram procession in Patei Khalsa village, Amroha, UP, a 35 feet high tajiya kept on a tractor tripler suddenly got electrocuted by the high tension line of 132 KVA. The Tajiya caught fire with a loud bang. In a short while, the tazia started burning with smoke.
As soon as Tajiye touched the high tension line 30 people sitting on the tractor-tripler were badly burnt. Two died, including a seriously injured teenager. Doctors in the hospital declared both dead.
