
Amul, under the stewardship of GCMMF Managing Director Jayen S Mehta, does not foresee any price increases due to favorable conditions this year, thanks to the punctual monsoon rains in Gujarat and the onset of the milk procurement season.
The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) is renowned for marketing its dairy products under the Amul brand.
Mehta stated, “This year, the situation appears quite promising due to the timely monsoon in Gujarat. This has alleviated pressure on producers in terms of feed and fodder expenses. Furthermore, we are entering the flush season of milk procurement, so we do not anticipate any price hikes,” in a conversation with PTI.
