In a letter to the party president, Laloo Prasad, Devendra Prasad Yadav stated that he no longer agrees with the policies of the RJD. He expressed concern that the RJD’s policy is solely focused on power, whereas harmony between power and policy is essential. He emphasized that politics without principles is like a body without a soul. He concluded by saying that his conscience tells him that he should not remain even for a moment in the RJD.
