Delhi News: On Wednesday, Election Commissioner Anoop Chandra Pandey retired from his position, leaving a vacancy in the three-member Election Commission. After a career spanning approximately 37 years, including service with the Central and Uttar Pradesh governments, Pandey joined the Commission in June 2021. The announcement of Pandey’s retirement was made by the Election Commission a few days before the schedule of the Lok Sabha elections.
