During the five-month Gaza conflict, Israel conducted its largest airstrikes on Syria and Lebanon on Friday. In the airstrikes in the Syrian capital Damascus and Aleppo province, 44 people were killed, including 36 soldiers. Meanwhile, a senior Hezbollah commander was killed in the border area of Lebanon. Russia has condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Syria.
