Gorakhpur Enters Guinness World Records for AI Awareness, Sets Record with 7.64 Lakh Registrations

News Street Live, Gorakhpur: Gorakhpur has entered the Guinness World Records for artificial intelligence (AI) awareness. The ‘AI for All’ awareness program, designed under the guidance of CM Yogi Adityanath, set a world record by achieving 7,64,187 online registrations within a week. The program was launched by Maharana Pratap Institute of Technology (MPIT) with the support of Tata Consultancy Services and other institutions.

On Wednesday, Guinness World Records representative Rishi Nath presented the certificate recognizing this achievement to CM Yogi Adityanath and Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran.

The certificate was presented during the inauguration ceremony of Eastern Uttar Pradesh’s first Centre of Excellence at MPIT. The institute had set a target of 5 lakh registrations for the ‘AI for All’ awareness program, but by the deadline of April 9, a total of 7,64,187 registrations were recorded.

Institutions such as Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Mahayogi Gorakhnath University Gorakhpur, Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath State AYUSH University, MP Polytechnic, ITM GIDA, and BIT GIDA also participated in this joint initiative.

The Guinness representative stated that the certificate was awarded after the online registration process was verified under strict standards.

This completely free AI awareness program will provide detailed training on topics such as introduction to AI, generative AI tools, prompting and productivity, responsible AI use, cyber hygiene, fraud prevention, password and OTP safety, and safe digital practices.
