The Government of India is in constant touch with the family of the missing Indian woman who fell off a ship while transiting through the Singapore Strait from Malaysia’s northern island state of Penang. The Indian High Commission located here gave this information on Tuesday.
The incident took place on Monday when Rita Sahni (64) and her husband Jakesh Sahni (70) were on their way back to Singapore from Penang on board the ship ‘Spectrum of the Seas’. Monday was the last day of the couple’s four-day cruise. Woman falls overboard from cruise ship.
