Heavy rains affected traffic in Mumbai on Wednesday but suburban train services remained normal with some delays. Municipal officials said that the Meteorological Department has issued an ‘Orange Alert’ warning for Mumbai, Thane, Raigad and Palghar districts on Thursday. The department has predicted very heavy to very heavy rainfall in some areas during this period.
