Recovering from the challenges posed by nature’s wrath, Himachal Pradesh is now gearing up to host tourism festivals across all 12 of its districts. According to Raghubir Singh Bali, the Vice Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Board, the state has successfully resumed 99% of its tourism activities.
Bali also mentioned that district Tourism Officers will be responsible for conceptualizing festival themes in their respective areas. Additionally, students from schools and colleges, as well as local representatives, will actively participate in various festival activities.
Despite the disruptions caused by excessive rainfall, flash floods, and landslides, the government has diligently carried out restoration efforts. As a result, the state’s roads are now open, services have been reinstated, and Himachal Pradesh is fully prepared to welcome tourists once again.
