In Begusarai, on Thursday morning, five criminals wreaked havoc by robbing HDFC Bank located at Har-Har Mahadev Chowk. It is reported that the five assailants first entered the bank posing as customers and then, wielding weapons, looted Rs. 20 lakhs before fleeing. The area is now gripped with fear. They took the staff hostage. Police have initiated an investigation.
