In New Delhi, the Modi government has initiated a recruitment plan for serving in the armed forces for youth on June 14, 2022. This plan is named “Agnipath”. Candidates will be designated as “Agniveer” for a period of four years. Agniveer will be a separate rank in the Indian Army. Rajnath Singh said that if necessary, changes will be made to the Agniveer scheme.
