Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a productive meeting with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang,

Potential in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). PM Modi shared their conversation on social media, highlighting Jensen Huang’s appreciation for India’s advancements in the AI sector.

In his post on X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi stated, “Had an excellent meeting with Mr. Jensen Huang, the CEO of @nvidia. We talked at length about the rich potential India offers in the world of AI. Mr. Jensen Huang was appreciative of the strides India has made in this sector and was equally upbeat about the talented youth of India.”

Nvidia, a US-based technology company, was founded by Jensen Huang in 1993, and he has been serving as its CEO and a board member since then.

Previously, in June, PM Modi emphasized the role of G20 nations in finding the right balance between the opportunities and challenges presented by digital technology. He highlighted AI’s immense potential in learning, skill development, and education during a G20 Education Ministers’ Meeting held in Pune via video message.

PM Modi stressed that G20 countries, leveraging their strengths, can play a pivotal role in promoting research and innovation, particularly in the Global South. He encouraged dignitaries to pave the way for increased research collaborations.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of continuous skilling, re-skilling, and up-skilling to prepare the youth for the future. He highlighted that education not only underpins India’s civilization but also shapes humanity’s future.

PM Modi shed light on India’s focus on research and innovation, mentioning the establishment of ten thousand ‘Atal Tinkering Labs’ across the country, which serve as hubs for research and innovation for school children. He shared that over 7.5 million students are engaged in more than 1.2 million innovative projects within these labs.
