“In Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, police officers and personnel are sluggish while awaiting transfers. Many officers, from constables to DSPs, have been awaiting transfers within the same district for three years. Due to this, these police personnel are not showing much interest in exposing criminal incidents. In recent days, there has been an increase in criminal activities in the capital, with incidents of murder, theft, and robbery occurring consistently.”
