Kolkata: Trinamool district president Anubrata Mandal knocked on the doors of the Delhi High Court against the ED’s charges in the cattle smuggling case. Represented by Kapil Sibal, a Trinamool leader, Mandal appeared in court on Tuesday, arguing that most of the complaints in this case were filed in Bengal. Consequently, Sibal suggested that the ED should question Anubrata in Bengal, instead of detaining him. Challenging Sibal’s argument, the central investigative agency brought up the case of Angarkata Sahgal Hussain, an accomplice of Anubrata apprehended in the cattle smuggling case.
