With the BJP’s alliance with RLD in the Lok Sabha elections, the situation has strengthened on most seats in Western Uttar Pradesh. The alliance of both parties has made the path difficult for the opposition in the Lok Sabha. Western Uttar Pradesh is considered to be dominated by Jats and Gurjars. Jats and Gurjars have never stood together in support of any party during elections.
