In anticipation of the upcoming Janmashtami celebrations on September 7, extensive preparations are underway in the temples of Mathura and Vrindavan to ensure a seamless and joyous observance of the festival, according to officials.
Mathura District Magistrate Shailendra Singh emphasized the importance of maintaining security while also prioritizing the convenience of devotees. He stated, “Without compromising security measures, every possible effort will be made to facilitate smooth darshan (viewing) opportunities for devotees.”
During his visit, Singh personally inspected the preparations at the Shri Krishna Janmasthan and provided instructions for certain adjustments to further enhance the overall experience.
With these meticulous arrangements, Mathura and Vrindavan are poised to welcome devotees from far and wide to celebrate Janmashtami, marking the birth of Lord Krishna with reverence and enthusiasm.
