Mercedes-Benz CLA Concept Unveiled at IAA Mobility 2023, Marks EV Future

Mercedes-Benz has introduced the CLA Concept at the ongoing IAA Mobility 2023 event in Munich, Germany, providing a glimpse into the brand’s forthcoming range of electric vehicles (EVs). This concept electric sedan, based on the new Modular Architecture (MMA), is expected to be part of Mercedes’ EV lineup in the coming years. The powertrain of this concept EV draws inspiration from the Vision EQXX, unveiled the previous year.

The CLA Concept is poised to succeed the CLA sedan as an all-electric model, aligning with Mercedes’ commitment to electrification. Moreover, it debuts a fresh design philosophy for both exterior and interior, which will become standard across Mercedes’ upcoming EVs.

Exterior Design:

As expected from a concept vehicle, the CLA boasts a futuristic appearance from every angle. Its low-slung profile is accompanied by a redesigned front fascia, featuring a sealed-off front end highlighted by an illuminated Mercedes star logo at the center. The exterior is further adorned with numerous small illuminated stars, creating a distinctive and captivating visual identity for the all-electric CLA.
