In Motipur of the Katarniyaghat Wildlife Division in Bahraich, there has been a case of the death of monkeys. The District Forest Officer (DFO) has taken stern action against four employees of the range. DFO Akashdeep Badhavan has suspended the forest guard and dismissed two watchers from their jobs. The Range Officer has also been involved in the matter, along with explaining the reasons to the Forest Range Officer. The DFO’s action has caused a stir among the employees of the Forest Department. This incident pertains to the Motipur Forest Range of the Katarniyaghat Wildlife Division.
