Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “Negative forces would once again work to divide society. They would divide society in the name of caste and even commit the sin of dividing great personalities on caste lines, but we must not allow this division to take place. Great personalities belong to the entire society, and their importance cannot be diminished by confining them within the boundaries of any particular caste.”
The Chief Minister was addressing a conference of Shakti Kendra convenors of the BJP’s western region in Meerut district in the presence of Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Nabin.
CM Yogi stated, “Everyone wholeheartedly welcomes and felicitates the BJP National President in Meerut, the land of India’s history, revolution and the strength of farmers. During the National President’s two-day visit, workers of the western region are getting his guidance and the opportunity to be in his company. Through the Shakti Kendra conference, an appeal is being made to awaken the strength of workers and make that awakening useful for the party, while calling upon workers to contribute to building a self-reliant and Viksit Bharat in line with the Prime Minister’s resolve and with the spirit of Nation First.”
He stated, “The individual is above the party and the nation is above the party. The spirit of the Bharatiya Janata Party is that everything I have will be for the nation. Those who say, ‘What do I care, what do I care’, reflect Manthara-like thinking. The sentiment of ‘Ko nrip hoi hame ka hani’ creates a crisis of identity, forces people to migrate, obstructs development and creates circumstances that force farmers, the providers of food, to commit suicide. This very sentiment harmed the country, led to its enslavement and created a crisis of identity before it.”
The Chief Minister informed, “After Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji assumed office in 2014, a vision of a New India emerged. It is an India that takes pride in its heritage and is moving forward with speed towards development. Today, India faces no identity crisis. It walks with its head held high and speaks to the world eye to eye. If anyone dares to challenge it, India also knows how to enter the enemy’s den and strike. India’s economy has moved from the bottom five to the top five.”
He added, “In this very country, there was once an attempt to denigrate Sanatan and Hindu traditions and equate them with Ghaznavi, Ghori, Ibrahim Lodi, Babur and Aurangzeb. Now, New India has ended the mentality of slavery and is experiencing pride in its heritage. This is expressed through Kashi Vishwanath Dham and the grand temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. What was impossible for people has become possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi Ji.”
The Chief Minister said, “Mathura-Vrindavan is being beautifully redeveloped. A master plan to revive Shukteerth, the land of the Bhagavata, is underway, and funds have also been allocated for Vidur Kuti. Those who denigrated heritage and Sanatan had stopped the Kanwar Yatra. But the BJP government said that no one could stop the Kanwar Yatra. It would proceed with grandeur. I myself participate in the Kanwar Yatra and shower flowers on the Kanwariyas. It is a symbol of Sanatan. Now no one can stop Shri Krishna Janmashtami or insult the revolutionary land of Meerut.”
He added, “Politics of pistols and guns cannot continue in Meerut now. To give wings to the dreams of the youth, India’s largest airport, Noida International Airport, is now completed just one hour away. Meerut’s daughter, Parul Chaudhary, has brought an Olympic gold medal to India. Uttar Pradesh’s first Sports University is being built in Meerut in the name of Major Dhyan Chand. A 12-lane expressway between Delhi and Meerut and the Namo Bharat train are operating successfully.
CM Yogi said, a Film City is now being built, a Medical Device Park is being developed, and a semiconductor unit is being established. Major work has also been done in the electronics sector. Uttar Pradesh manufactures 60 percent of components for electronic items and 55 percent of mobile phones in India.
He stated, “9.5 lakh youth have been given government jobs in the state. Traditional enterprises have been revived, providing employment to 3 crore 25 lakh young people. The state has become free from riots and curfews as the backbone of rioters has been broken, and this has also brought major employment opportunities to the state.”
The CM said Uttar Pradesh no longer faces an identity crisis. No one now insults anyone by calling them a person from UP. When people identify themselves as being from Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Hapur, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Shamli, Saharanpur or Bijnor, they are respected. If someone says outside the state that they have come from UP, the other person is ready to embrace them.
The Chief Minister said, “Earlier, neither daughters nor traders were safe. There was anarchy everywhere, curfews continued for months, businesses were destroyed, and the jobs of young people were already being snatched away. The hard work and sweat of workers, along with the leadership of Prime Minister Modi Ji, helped restore Uttar Pradesh’s identity. The coming generation will no longer say, ‘What did you do?’ A worker can tell the coming generation that when he was the Shakti Kendra convenor of the BJP, a 12-lane expressway was built and Namo Rapid Rail arrived. Preserve these achievements as memories and tell the future generation that what could not happen in 500 years became possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi Ji in the form of the grand temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.”
He stated, “Workers have the right to say, ‘I have received an identity, I have found my Ram, I have found my Krishna and I have found my Bhole Shankar, I have received the sacred abode of Baba Vishwanath.’ This is our identity. The credit for establishing the BJP as the world’s largest party under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi Ji and BJP President Nitin Nabin Ji also goes to the workers.”
Describing the workers as the charioteers of this journey, he said Krishna also played the role of a charioteer in the Mahabharata war. History did not honor Shakuni and Manthara, but it honored a charioteer like Krishna. Every worker should have the spirit of becoming a charioteer like Krishna.
The Chief Minister said, “Uttar Pradesh was earlier a BIMARU state, but today no one can call it a BIMARU state. Today, UP is counted among the country’s top-three economies. Uttar Pradesh is no longer identified with ‘One District One Mafia’, but with ‘One District One Medical College’ and ‘One District One Product’. Along with this, efforts are being made through ‘One District One Cuisine’ to give global recognition to local food and products. Meerut’s rewri, Hapur’s papad and Muzaffarnagar’s jaggery have also been included in this.”
He added that food and products from every place are being branded so they can receive global recognition. Earlier, UP was identified with pistols and bombs and people used to distance themselves from the state, but that situation no longer exists.
The Chief Minister stated, “Some people would not be able to tolerate this change. Those who used to incite riots, bow before rioters and mafias, invite rioters to the Chief Minister’s residence and honor them, and remain engrossed in extortion, would once again work to divide society. They would divide society in the name of caste and attempt to divide great personalities on caste lines as well. Great personalities do not belong to any one caste.”
He further informed, “Kotwal Dhan Singh Gurjar is a hero of India’s freedom movement and a hero of reverence and respect for every Indian. Maharana Pratap, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj are national heroes. They cannot be confined within caste boundaries. Durga Bhabhi, a foremost revolutionary and an inspiration to others, is an ideal for everyone. The government has built a grand memorial to Kotwal Dhan Singh Gurjar in Meerut. Negative forces want to divide society once again, in the name of caste, region and language. This division must not be allowed, and the responsibility for this lies with the Shakti Kendra convenors.”
The Chief Minister called upon Shakti Kendra convenors to review every booth, form an effective team at every booth level, and assign responsibility to every Panna Pramukh. He said that each family must be mapped and surveyed and everyone must be motivated to vote. The Constitution given by Babasaheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar has given every citizen the great power to exercise their vote.
He further added, “The double-engine government has allocated funds for the beautification of places, temples and statues associated with Babasaheb, Sadguru Ravidas Ji Maharaj and Maharishi Valmiki Ji. There was a time when the Samajwadi Party government used to change the name of a medical college named after Babasaheb and stop the event held at the sacred birthplace of Sadguru Ravidas Ji Maharaj in Seer Govardhan.”
CM Yogi also launched a sharp political attack on the Samajwadi Party over Ram Setu and the name of Lord Ram, saying workers would have to keep their Shakti Kendra strong to respond to those who were irritated by the invocation of Lord Ram’s name. The more empowered and strong the Shakti Kendra is, the more strongly the workers will move forward and the more effective the mantra of Nation First will be. Appreciating the presence and enthusiasm of the Shakti Kendra convenors from the western region, he called for taking the process of achieving 100 percent formation forward.
He said that, along with the Shakti Kendra, the process of forming booth convenors, in-charges, and Panna Pramukhs should be taken forward effectively while screening every household. He called upon workers to work hard and ensure 100 percent attendance at the conference of booth presidents.

BJP State President Pankaj Chaudhary said that Shakti Kendras are the backbone of the Bharatiya Janata Party and they have a major responsibility. The National President’s repeated desire to interact with Shakti Kendra workers during his visit to Uttar Pradesh shows how important their role is in the organization. If a Shakti Kendra convenor has complete information about the three to five booths in his area, he can assess his Shakti Kendra’s results even before the election.
He further said that workers are supreme in the BJP, and he is always ready to do anything for the workers. Workers should go among the people with the welfare-oriented work of the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the achievements of the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Western Uttar Pradesh has changed significantly since 2017, and the double-engine government has worked to change the state’s identity. A BJP worker does not work by looking at the target or candidate, but with the resolve to make the lotus bloom and form the government.
He expressed confidence that workers of western Uttar Pradesh, while working with full dedication and commitment, would play an important role in forming the BJP government again in Uttar Pradesh in 2027.
