The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) has partnered with the National Jute Board (NJB) to develop eco-friendly, affordable technology for Geo-Cell products from jute to meet engineering strength requirements. Jute is abundant in India, and the project proposes ground improvement using jute cells.
