Police officer sets an example, breastfeeds hungry baby, mother admitted to ICU

Kochi: Civil police officer MA Arya of Kochi Mahila Police station set a new example of compassion by breastfeeding a four-month-old baby as his ailing mother was admitted in a nearby hospital and the baby was crying out of hunger. The woman police officer has a 9-month-old baby and decided to breastfeed the starving baby of a Patna woman admitted in the intensive care unit of ‘Ernakulam General Hospital’.

The woman has four children and no one to take care of them
The woman has four children and there is no one to take care of them. Therefore, these children were brought to ‘Kochi City Women’s Station’ on Thursday. According to the police, the family has been living in Kerala for some time and the woman’s husband is in jail in a case. While the policemen provided food to the three elder children, the police officer himself took the decision to breastfeed the four-month-old baby.
