The political turmoil over Maratha reservation in Maharashtra had barely settled when demands for reservation for Muslims began to surface. The Samajwadi Party has urged for reservation for Muslims similar to Marathas. SP MLA Rais Khan reminded Deputy CM Ajit Pawar of his promise to the Muslim community.
