Rishikesh News: People Distressed Due to Cold, Waiting for Administration’s Instructions for Bonfires.

Suddenly, after the first week of December, the cold has intensified. Even last Monday, the record for the lowest temperature was set at nine degrees Celsius. Fog is prevailing during the night, and the temperature is dropping at night. This is causing discomfort to homeless sadhus, monks, and others living in various places in the city, including Trivenighat. So far, no campfires have been set up by the Municipal Corporation. The municipal administration is waiting for guidelines from the district administration. Municipal officials say that campfires in the city will only be set up upon receiving instructions from the district administration.
