Textiles Secretary Rachna Shah on Tuesday said the Ministry of Textiles will soon introduce ‘India Size’ standards for garments. These standards have been prepared according to the Indian body composition.
After the introduction of these standards, Indians will be able to buy such clothes, which will fit better for them. Currently, international and domestic brands available in India use US or UK measurements for ‘small’, ‘medium’ and ‘large’ clothing sizes.
