The second list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections from the Left Front could be released on Saturday. According to sources, Mohammad Salim Murshidabad, the state secretary of CPI(M), may contest from Murshidabad, while symbolically representing the Left Front, Pratikur Rahman from Diamond Harbour and Abhishek Banerjee, the national general secretary of the Trinamool Congress, could stand against each other. The Left Front had previously announced the names of 16 candidates.
