The world’s highest railway bridge built in Kashmir will prove to be a game changer in military capability and tourism

he Indian Army is set to inaugurate the world’s highest railway bridge in the remote and disputed region of Kashmir after a 15-year construction phase. This Chenab bridge which is part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail link project of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is a steel arch bridge which has made India proud. This bridge improvement will prove to be the most important part in a series of infrastructure upgrades to strengthen defense capabilities and integrate the region with the country.
