After hosting a program at the party office on the occasion of Kranti Diwas in August, the leader of the Samajwadi Party engaged in a conversation with journalists and expressed his views. He remarked that the BJP discriminates against the marginalized, Dalits, and minorities in the country. He referred to the report on the Moradabad riots and stated that as elections approach, similar reports will continue to surface. He emphasized that the socialist movement has dedicated its efforts to uplift the backward classes throughout its existence.
Akhilesh Yadav, the President of the Samajwadi Party, accused the BJP of considering the marginalized, Dalits, and minorities as ‘Shudras’. He compared the unity of Hindus and Muslims that drove the British out of India to the opposition coalition ‘AIDIA’ and ‘PDA’ that will collaborate to defeat the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing journalists after an event commemorating ‘Kranti Diwas’ at the party headquarters, the SP leader conveyed his belief that the BJP practices discrimination against the underprivileged, Dalits, and minorities. Referring to the report on the Moradabad riots, he asserted that similar reports will continue emerging, now that the elections are upon us.
