Belonging to the Naxal affected area of Chhattisgarh, Rahul dreams of becoming a doctor, but due to the economic conditions at home, coaching for exams like JEE, NEET was not an easy thing for him. But this year they have started flying their dreams by clearing NEET and all this became possible because of the ‘second chance’ initiative of Buxar Collector IAS Vineet Nandanwar.
Rahul is not alone, but about 65 children like him have passed the NEET, JEE exam by joining the ‘Chu Lo Aasman’ campaign run by the government. Most of these 65 children were children who failed to clear the NEET exam in one go. By deciding to give them a second chance, IAS Vineet has started a unique education revolution.
