A heavy crowd was witnessed at the famous Sabarimala Temple of Lord Ayyappa on Wednesday morning. The main reason for this was the Mandal Puja. Devotees from across the country gather for the auspicious Mandal Puja held at this hill temple. Long queues of pilgrims carrying the sacred “IruNmuniku” on their heads were seen in the temple premises, also known as Sannidhanam. The entire temple complex resonated with the chanting of the mantra “Swami Saranam Ayyappa.”
