Ayodhya: Under the protection of the Vashishta Foundation, 500 women, filling their pots with water from the Sarayu River, undertook a Kalash Yatra to the birthplace of Lord Rama. In the holy precinct of Lord Rama’s birth, the life-size idol of Lord Rama will be consecrated with grandeur. For this, 4000 women from Ayodhya will perform a worship ceremony at the sacred banks of Mother Sarayu near Rama’s footsteps.
