Deoria: 21 couples married in a mass wedding organized by a social worker. On the sixth day of a nine-day program at the Shri Narvadeshwar Mahadev Temple in the Medipatti village of the Pathardeo Development Block area in Deoria district, Uttar Pradesh. The mass wedding ceremony, where 21 couples tied the knot amidst Vedic chants, witnessed a large gathering of people at the wedding venue, along with arrangements for meals. To make the mass wedding ceremony grand, singers Mridul Bharat Sharma Bias and Balram Bali performed at the event. The bride and groom were given wedding attire, jewelry, household items, etc., as gifts by Surendra Lal Srivastava (organizer), on behalf of the temple committee.
