In Tamil Nadu, ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the ruling DMK has announced its list of candidates. A. Raja has been given the ticket from the Nilgiris Lok Sabha seat, while Kanimozhi will contest from Thoothukudi. Additionally, DMK has fielded Kalanidhi Veeraswamy from North Chennai, Thamizhachi Thangapandian from South Chennai, and Dayanidhi Maran from Central Chennai.
