Mumbai: In Maharashtra, the Congress stronghold of Vasantdada Patil’s home district had been consistently won by Congress until 2009. However, in the 2014 and 2019 elections, BJP emerged victorious from there. Despite Congress’ insistence, Shiv Sena has now announced its candidate from that seat. Congress seems neither to be crying nor singing anymore.
