Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused Samajwadi Party and Congress of being anti-education, stating, “Whether it is Samajwadi Party or Congress, both are anti-education. Otherwise, education in the state would not have reached such a deplorable condition. When education is in disarray, teachers lose respect first. Graduates begin worrying about their future, become frustrated and disillusioned and are forced to migrate. This is precisely what happened in the state during SP’s tenure. Universities were not established, colleges were not granted recognition and lawlessness was at its peak. Today, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and through the efforts of the state government, education system is improving, young people are getting jobs, teachers are receiving respect and security and educational institutions are being transformed.”
Addressing the teachers’ conference held in Mirzapur, CM stated, “The sacred land of Vindhyavasini Dham is a symbol of faith and devotion. During Shardiya Navratri, lakhs of devotees visit Maa Vindhyavasini, Maa Ashtabhuji, and Maa Kali at Kali Khoh, offering prayers and expressing devotion to the divine feminine power. Under Modi Ji’s leadership, a grand corridor has been constructed at Maa Vindhyavasini Dham. Construction work on the sacred ghats of Maa Ganga is also progressing firmly. These facilities could have been provided before 2017 as well, but at that time, these funds were misused to nurture the mafia and seize the land of the poor. Our government stopped this misuse of funds and directed them towards development works. As a result, two lakh devotees are visiting Maa Vindhyavasini Dham every day. This requires political will and the ability to rise above vote-bank politics and make decisions. However, those who came to power after Independence had no clear vision or direction.”
CM stated, “Congress and SP have had a tendency to keep every initiative in the name of their families and confined to their families. Congress remained limited to Nehru family, while Samajwadi Party remained confined to Saifai family. These people made the state feel alien to its own people, which is why the public saw them as outsiders and removed them from power.
“If you want to see the real face of the SP, look at its selection of Rajya Sabha candidates. They keep shouting PDA-PDA, but when the Rajya Sabha elections came, they nominated their Chachajaan and a wealthy businessman from Mumbai. They could not see anyone else from the Dalit, deprived, backward or upper-caste communities. If they did not trust these communities, they could at least have nominated a Muslim candidate, but they did not do that either.
“In contrast, Bharatiya Janata Party gave eight tickets, including three candidates from upper castes, three from backward classes and two from Scheduled Castes. The party gave opportunities to ordinary workers, not wealthy businessmen, because party workers work hard and devote their time. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s leadership, the NDA fielded eight candidates, and all eight won. The SP gave tickets to members of its family and a wealthy businessman, with the result that PDA lost its steam.”
CM Yogi stated, “During Samajwadi Party’s tenure, there was a person named Anil Yadav who was a relative of Saifai family. He was not qualified for the post, yet they made him chairman of a commission. The High Court removed him from the chair after making strong observations, stating that he was not fit for the position.
“At that time, young people used to shout on the streets, but Akhilesh Yadav government, sitting in Lucknow, would sleep with cotton stuffed in its ears. The future of young people was being jeopardized. Today, youth of the state are securing jobs and are also creating employment for others through the startup ecosystem.”
CM stated, “SP had the opportunity to govern the state four times, but at that time, none of three districts of Mirzapur division, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra and Bhadohi, had either a medical college or a university. Today, the division has two medical colleges and two universities operating successfully. A university named after Maa Vindhyavasini and a medical college have also started functioning in Mirzapur. Kashi Naresh University has been established in Bhadohi, while a medical college has started in Sonbhadra.
“During SP rule, the division had no roads, electricity, water, security, government assistance, education or jobs. People received jobs according to the wishes of Saifai syndicate. A single family controlled even government jobs. Our government has made the recruitment process fair and transparent.”
CM stated, “In the nine and a half years since the government was formed in the state under the leadership of NDA and BJP, 9.5 lakh young people and graduates have been provided government jobs. An excellent security environment has been created, resulting in 65 lakh people getting jobs in various sectors. More than three crore employment opportunities have been developed under the One District-One Product scheme.
“Faith can also become a source of economic activity. Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, Maa Vindhyavasini Dham and Kashi Vishwanath Dham are examples of this. Before 2017, people had to pass through narrow routes to have darshan of Ramlalla, who was forced to remain under a makeshift tent. Independent India challenged all of us with the question: Is this what freedom means, that our Lord must remain under a makeshift tent?
“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a grand temple of Lord Ram has now been constructed. The opposition is not ready to accept this. Those who opposed the Ram temple and hurt people’s faith are now going around lecturing others about Ayodhya.”
CM stated, “Several schemes of the Central and state governments are being implemented for young people. One scheme provides tablets to two crore youth, of whom 62 lakh have already received them. After the elections conclude, the government will once again organize large-scale programs and provide tablets to graduate youth to accelerate the digital campaign.
“CM Abhyudaya Coaching Centers have been established to help young people prepare for competitive examinations. These centers are free of cost, and young people can benefit through both physical and virtual modes. The government stands with young people preparing for NEET, IIT-JEE, UPSC, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission and other competitive examinations. Government believes in the talent and capabilities of young people and is providing them with opportunities to progress.”
CM stated, “Before 2017, teachers had neither respect nor security nor access to health facilities. Now, the government has provided an annual health insurance cover of Rs. 5 lakh, including coverage for their families, to 15 lakh teachers, including those working in self-financed institutions in basic, secondary and higher education.
“Teachers have also been assured social security. In the event of any incident or accident, social security benefits ranging from Rs. 40 lakh to Rs. 1.5 crore will be available. Government provides teachers with respect, security and facilities and connects educational institutions with a process of transformation.
“These things could have been done before 2017 as well, but there was neither foresight nor vision at that time. If there is no vision, how can the mission be accomplished?”
CM stated, “Those who had created an identity crisis for the state, who pleaded before the mafia, surrendered before them and rubbed their noses before them, are now talking about security.
“Earlier, during Navratri, devotees had to struggle to install idols of Goddess Durga. A lack of facilities in temples, filth, electricity shortages, lawlessness, and disorder had become the state’s identity. Today, such problems no longer exist. Government stands with the people and at their doorstep.
“Under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, camps were organized in every block and efforts were made to connect people with government schemes. Voters should also elect good representatives who can raise their voices, promote their interests, get schemes approved by the government, and ensure they reach the people. Choosing the wrong representative creates a barrier to resolving problems.”
CM stated, “Samajwadi Party is the very barrier that prevents problems from being resolved. They created obstacles in the Maa Vindhyavasini Corridor project. They attempted to obstruct the establishment of medical colleges and universities. They also tried to create hurdles to establish a university in Bhadohi, build bridges and ghats on the Maa Ganga in Mirzapur and Bhadohi, and build a medical college in Sonbhadra.
“If this is what these people want to do, let them remain a barrier, but do not elect them. We will uproot this barrier and throw it out in one stroke.”
On this occasion, Minister in charge of Mirzapur Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Technical Education Minister Ashish Patel, Minister of State for Social Welfare Sanjeev Gaur, MP Dr. Vinod Bind, Vice-Chairman of the State Backward Classes Commission Sohan Lal Shrimali, Bharatiya Janata Party district president Lal Bahadur Saroj, public representatives, candidate for the Teachers’ Graduate Constituency Dr. Pramod Mishra and candidate for the Graduate Legislative Council Constituency Kedar Nath Singh were present.

‘ODOP’ is shaping UP’s identity: Nandi
Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ stated, “Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, UP’s identity and perception have both changed. Before 2017, the state was known for dynastic politics, appeasement, and ‘One District-One Mafia’. Today, good governance, a strong law-and-order system, industrial development and ‘One District-One Product’ have become the state’s new identity.
“Earlier, development was confined to Saifai and Rae Bareli, but today, from Bundelkhand to Paschimanchal and from Awadh to Purvanchal, every district and village is writing a new story of development. Uttar Pradesh is now progressing rapidly in cultural, economic and industrial development.
“Describing the upcoming MLC elections as an opportunity to take the state’s development and heritage to new heights, he appealed to voters to ensure a resounding victory for Bharatiya Janata Party candidates and strengthen the hands of the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister.”
