News Street Live, Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission successfully conducted the written re-examination for Assistant Teacher (Advertisement No. 51) covering 17 subjects at 53 examination centres across the state. The examination was conducted in a complete peaceful, fair, and timely manner.
A total of 19,718 candidates appeared in the re-examination. Among them, 41.35 percent were female and 58.65 percent were male candidates, reflecting the seriousness and enthusiasm of aspirants.
The examination was held in 6 major districts of the state, including Agra, Meerut, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, and Varanasi. The first shift was conducted from 09:30 am to 11:30 am, and the second shift from 02:30 pm to 04:30 pm, with significant participation of candidates in both sessions.
The re-examination covered a total of 17 subjects including Asian Culture, Music Tabla, Physical Education, Urdu, English, Sociology, Chemistry, Education, Zoology, Botany, Agricultural Economics, Hindi, Law, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Music Vocal, Philosophy, and Anthropology.
To ensure transparency and integrity, all examination centres were monitored live through an AI integrated control command room established by the Commission. In the presence of Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar, along with the Secretary, Controller of Examinations, and Deputy Secretary, continuous monitoring of candidates’ activities was carried out through AI-enabled cameras.
The AI-based surveillance and strict administrative arrangements made this examination a model of transparency and fairness. The technological framework adopted by the Commission is being seen as a benchmark for future examinations.
At the Government Girls Inter College in Gomtinagar, Lucknow, a fire incident occurred in the principal’s room due to AC wiring before the first shift. However, the administration acted swiftly and brought the situation under control.
Under the supervision of the nodal officer and Commission observer, the examination was conducted smoothly using alternative arrangements.
The examination was conducted in a malpractice-free, orderly, and transparent manner at all centres across the state, with active support from district administration officials.
