Lok Sabha Election 2024: Prior to filing his nomination, Tharoor performed puja and rituals at prominent temples in the constituency, including the Shri Padmanabha Swamy Temple and Pazhavangadi Ganapati Temple. Senior CPI leader and former MP from Thiruvananthapuram, Pannyan Ravindran, and BJP leader and Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar are Tharoor’s challengers in the field. Voting will take place on all 20 Lok Sabha seats in the state of Kerala on April 26.
