While the regional parties are uniting to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and Congress is raising the victory cry, organizational weaknesses still pose a challenge for the party. Recently, due to the preparations for the elections, its organizational structure could be significantly strengthened in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram, and Karnataka. However, currently, its ground presence appears weak in Uttar Pradesh, a state crucial to its electoral fortunes.
