Maharashtra: BJP MP Unmesh Patil from Jalgaon has switched sides. After being denied a ticket by the BJP, he decided to join the Shiv Sena-YuvaBharati party on Wednesday. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Unmesh Patil won from Jalgaon with a record seven lakh votes. Patil has been successful in resolving several pending issues in the district during his tenure in the Lok Sabha. BJP has nominated Smita Wagh from the Jalgaon constituency.
