Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday visited the Srimantapur Integrated Land Port (ICP) in Tripura’s Sipahijala district. Yogendra Garg, Chief Commissioner (North East) of the Central Excise Department gave this information to the reporters.
He said, “The Union Minister visited the Integrated Land Port and a jetty built on the banks of the Gomti River. He had inaugurated Srimantapur ICP in Sonamura subdivision in 2016 as Minister of State for Commerce. She was happy to see the use of ICP for both business and passengers.
