.An alliance has been formed between the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party for the Lok Sabha elections. As part of this alliance, a Lok Sabha seat in Kurukshetra has been allocated, where the Pradesh Adhyaksh (State President) and incumbent Rajya Sabha member, Dr. Sushil Gupta, will contest. The Congress is set to contest on the remaining nine Lok Sabha seats. It has been decided that Rajya Sabha member Deepender Hooda will contest from Rohtak.
